About this Opportunity:

The Web Developer/Designer will be responsible for the design and development of all company websites, which are developed on the WordPress platform and hosted on WP Engine. This role requires a keen eye for design, a strong technical background, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Position reports to and works with the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain company websites on the WordPress platform.

· Ensure all websites are optimized for performance, speed, and scalability.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts and interfaces

· Manage and maintain hosting environments on WP Engine

· Implement and oversee website security measures.

· Perform SEO optimization to improve search engine rankings and visibility.

· Utilize SEMrush and other tools for keyword research and ongoing optimization.

· Administer and monitor Google Analytics to track website performance and user behavior.

· Manage Google Ads campaigns to increase traffic and generate leads.

· Create and optimize landing pages for all campaigns to enhance user experience and conversion rates.

· Deploy and manage the PureChat online chat platform to improve customer engagement and support.

· Oversee the addition of new content to websites, ensuring it is optimized for search engines and aligned with marketing strategies.

· Work with the content team to develop and implement engaging, SEO-friendly content.

· Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing analytics dashboard

· Integrate data from various sources (Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, etc.) to provide actionable insights.

· Regularly update the dashboard to reflect current marketing performance metrics.

· Work closely with the internal marketing team to align website content and functionality with overall marketing goals and strategies.

· Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure seamless integration of third-party tools and services.

· Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners to drive project success.

· Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix issues.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve website functionality and performance.

· Increase website traffic.

· Generate more leads through optimized web pages and campaigns.

· Enhance overall user experience and engagement.

Location:

Womack Group is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Auburn Hills, MI facility.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. An individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.

EDUCATION:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design or a related field (preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

· Previous experience in Web developer/designer or a similar role

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proven experience in web development and design, particularly on WordPress.
  • Familiarity with WP Engine hosting platform.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and tools like SEMrush.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Ads administration.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Experience with PureChat or similar online chat platforms.
  • Knowledge of web security best practices.
  • Experience in developing marketing analytics dashboards.
