Trim Carpenter - Up to $30 an hour to start - Weekly Pay
Job Description

We are seeking a versatile Trim Carpenter who excels in various carpentry tasks, including formwork, rough carpentry, and trim carpentry. The ideal candidate should be skilled with power tools, proficient in selective demolition, and able to comply with company policies and OSHA guidelines. From the initial conceptual development to the completion, you will operate and maintain construction equipment, assist equipment operators, carpenters, and skilled labor as needed, and handle various tasks to prepare construction sites.
Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain construction equipment.
  • Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and skilled labor as needed.
  • Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards.
  • Handle loading and unloading of materials.
  • Assemble and dismantle temporary structures, like scaffolding.
  • Excavate, fill, or compact earth.
  • Support craft workers.
  • Participate in on-the-job training.
  • Understand construction design, technical plans, blueprints, and models.
  • Read plans, use mathematics for layout, and solve problems effectively.
  • Communicate proficiently in English for clear instruction comprehension.
  • Travel to various job sites as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Prolonged periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
  • Safely operate sharp tools and power equipment.
  • Work in diverse weather conditions and terrains.
  • Possess manual dexterity, balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Demonstrate physical strength, stamina, and balance for various job tasks.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and push or pull loads of similar weight.
  • Stand, walk, and climb stairs for up to eight hours daily while handling materials
Work Environment

You will be working primarily on commercial new builds. Tasks will range from trim, rough, and finish carpentry to assisting with pre-engineered metal structures. Flexibility is required as you will be primarily based in Lincoln but may also work on job sites in the surrounding areas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00
