Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Our company is looking for a Starbucks Assistant Store manager. Thank you in advance for reading the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

The Starbucks Manager provides oversight of the coffee shop and direction to the Baristas and Starbucks Shift Leads. Prepares and serves coffee or espresso beverages to customers or guests as needed.

§ Monitor costs and revenue on daily basis to maximize profitability and minimize cost using company provided tools and information

§ Maintain proper inventories of product and equipment on daily and monthly basis

§ Continuously evaluate the performance and encourage improvement of the employees in the department

§ Conduct effective daily briefings with Team Members to ensure proper communication and Team Member knowledge

§ Prepare for convention season by proper scheduling, equipment rental, set up, product order and obtain appropriate Health Department permits

§ Manage third-party vendors to ensure on time and on budget delivery

§ Deploy Team Members and delegate tasks so that Team Members can create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers

§ Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team

§ Check Daily/Weekly update on Starbucks LSstar store communication

§ Managing store inventory on a regular basis, which includes helping restock, organizing storage, ordering products as needed, and marking any items out of stock in mobile app

§ Ensure all Starbucks promotional Launch are completed up to standard

§ Manage employees including coaching, training, disciplinary action, and ensuring employees follow store policies and dress codes.

§ Managing cash positions throughout the store.

§ Growing the store business by encouraging a positive and productive work environment.

§ Effectively leads a team of Baristas and Starbucks Shift Leads to deliver the best service to customers and guests.

§ Works frequently with subordinates in the Starbucks store to ensure all aspects of business are running smoothly and on schedules to improve existing practices and services both in the front of the house and the back of the house.

§ Inspects Starbucks space daily to ensure high quality food and food presentation cleanliness and side work duties completed. Maintain follow-through of all guest requests problems complaints and/or accidents, which occur.

§ Assists Department Head/General Manager to ensure training of all Barista/Starbucks Shift Lead personnel using the steps to effective training according to company standards.

§ Assists Department Head/General Manager to schedule associates at proper staffing levels; watches labor cost daily to ensure efficiency in scheduling.

§ Assists Department Head/General Manager in developing and ensure implementation of Starbucks promotional ideas.

§ Communicates financial information to the General Manager including up-to-date budget information and revenue growth programs formulated through short term and long term operational and financial plans for the food and beverage department.

§ Achieves budgeted revenues controls cost (which includes labor food maintenance etc.) and maximizes profitability related to the facility operations.

§ Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.

Skills & Qualifications:

§ Must possess strong problem solving skills

§ Must possess strong operational skills in a customer service environment

§ Must be able to plan and prioritize workload

§ Must be able to train employees

§ Must be able to manage store operations independently

§ Must be a good team leader and possess the ability of keeping the employees motivated

§ Must be able and willing to work weekdays, mornings, evenings and holidays

§ Time management and Organizational skills - preferred

§ Previous coffee shop experience especially Starbucks - Preferred
