We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Constructions Manager to join our team and contribute to key regional and system-wide initiatives. As a Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating project teams, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables, and managing third-party vendors. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver capital projects in support of key regional and system-wide initiatives
  • Coordinate project teams and ensure key deliverables and deadlines are met
  • Work on complex projects and manage a team of third-party vendors
  • Report daily to the hospital and be located within a commutable distance of the specified location
  • Be flexible to work weekends occasionally as per manager/departmental needs
  • Travel within a defined region/territory as required by manager and departmental needs
  • Provide leadership and management to meet construction project goals
  • Assist in reviewing project reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Update design and construction managers on project progress
  • Effectively communicate technical standards to the construction management team
  • Stay knowledgeable about applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements
  • Develop, review, and maintain project budgets
  • Maintain project cost data for future reference
  • Develop and manage RFPs for architectural and general construction services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 7+ years of experience in construction management
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare/hospital specific construction management
  • 3+ years of Supervisory experience of both direct reports and/or vendor management to include third party
  • Proven experience with land use practices and procedures across a diverse geographic portfolio
  • Extensive experience with ability to analyze and negotiate financial terms for architectural and construction proposals
