Epic Personnel Partners is actively hiring SMT & Wave Solder Operators for an electronics manufacturing partner in Windsor, CT.

Pay: $18.00–$19.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Thursday | 7:00AM–3:30PM (Friday as needed)

Overview: We’re seeking skilled operators to support Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Wave Solder processes. These roles involve assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs), operating precision machinery, and ensuring high-quality soldering.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain SMT or Wave Solder equipment
• Load components and feeders into machines according to job specs
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation
• Inspect PCB assemblies and solder joints for defects and quality standards
• Collaborate with quality teams and supervisors to resolve issues
• Maintain clean and organized workstations
• Participate in training and continuous improvement programs

Requirements:

• 6+ months of experience in SMT assembly or wave soldering
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and documents
• Familiarity with IPC-610 or similar soldering quality standards
• Comfortable using mechanical tools and basic computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and team communication skills
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 5+ lbs
