EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join our team in our Salem, NH plant! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare.

Job Description:
The position of SMT Operator performs the function of operating and programming surface mount assembly equipment, and manufacturing SMT assemblies.

The SMT Operator will operate the following equipment:

• Automated solder-paste stencil printing machine
• Automated Solder Paste Inspection machine
• Automated Adhesive Dispensing machine
• Loading the proper components onto SMT Placement Machines.
• Operating the automated SMT placement machines
• Operating the reflow oven including loading recipes and performing weekly PM.
• Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine and performing quality inspections at each stage to ensure correct assemblies are manufactured

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum High School Degree or GED
• No experience required, on-the-job training will be provided
• Component identification
• Ability to read, follow rules, and instructions
• Must be able to read assembly documentation
• Work well with other employees in a team
• Attention to detail and neatness
• Interface with process engineering to identify/resolve problems
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes - preferred
