Job Description

The Tax Sr. Accountant will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for managing corporate income taxes for affiliates and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory deadlines. This role will also play a vital part in international tax operations, focusing on U.S income taxes and tax planning strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret financial data to accurately report the company's tax position.
• Collaborate with external accounting firms to prepare timely and accurate tax filings for all entities.
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with jurisdictional regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
• Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the relationship between accounting records and tax reporting requirements.
• Provide support for financial audits of entities.
• Manage tax audits and notices.
• Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of tax experience, including a strong understanding of tax law and codes.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiation, reasoning, and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to interpret business needs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with an Accounting Certificate.
• CPA (active or in progress).

Recommended Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Taxation.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in international income tax laws.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP software.
• Familiarity with common tax research software tools.
