We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist with a background in biology research and drug discovery to join our-Immunology Discovery therapeutic area at our company's Research Laboratories in Cambridge, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing in vitro assays, analyzing data, and writing reports to support research programs in the immunology therapeutic area.

Responsibilities
  • Work independently and as part of a team to support the early development of novel therapeutics for allergic and autoimmune disorders.
  • Develop and implement various cellular in vitro assays using a wide range of methodologies.
  • Design and analyze experiments, interpret, and track results, and utilize findings for assay development and optimization.--
  • Document and report the experimental findings and provide scientific contribution to multiple research programs.
  • Collaborate closely with members within the department and across functional teams in support of research projects/programs at different stages.
Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:
  • B.S./B.A. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences field with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience; or a M.S. degree with a minimum 1 year of hands-on experience.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Expertise in mammalian cell culture and passaging is essential.
  • Proficiency in optimizing and executing immunoassays (Meso Scale Discovery/ELISA/Luminex).
  • Strong handle on basic cell biology and molecular biology techniques- qPCR, CRISPR.
  • Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in standard scientific software used for data analysis (Excel, Prism).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to function and communicate effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment and thrive in a team environment.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Experience working with PBMC and/or human primary cells.
  • Experience with multi-color flow cytometry is strongly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of immunology and other immunological assays is preferred.
  • Prior experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry is helpful.
