Job Description

A global manufacturer client in flavor and fragrance ingredients of Insight Global is expanding their team in Cincinnati, OH and is looking to hire on a Regulatory Assistant. This person will be reporting to the US Regulatory Manager to help spearhead the increase in business growth and is wanting this person who prides themselves in being detail oriented, enjoys working cross functionally as a team player as well as wanting a position where they can grow long term. This person who joins the team will be trained/caught up to speed on the overall business with direction from their manager to ensure they feel setup for success.

Responsibilities from a day-to-day perspective are as follows:

* Ability to work within a team and manage changing priorities and be able to track progress of inquiries.

* Must be able to communicate effectively with other departments.

* Responsible for managing document control of raw material information:

o FSVP- Request documents from suppliers, file appropriately.

o Raw Material Checklists- Check status of documents on file, request missing documents, file documents, update spreadsheet.

* Responsible for flagging and reporting problematic documents.

* Responsible for completing Regulatory Document Change Review form as new documents are received.

* Create and maintain Kosher and Halal certificates, including sending to customers as necessary.

* Maintain Oracle databases with regulatory information and is responsible for accuracy of the information and develop the ability to spot potential issues and raise concerns.

* Potential for training in specification, RT, and other document creation.

Required Skills & Experience

* 3+ years of Regulatory experience or as a Regulatory Assistant

* Possesses a background working for a manufacturing/in this type of environment

* Well versed with ERP systems (Oracle is what they use)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experienced with TraceGains or any similar tools

* Experienced with FormPak or any similar tools

* Experienced with Oracle ERP systems

* Familiarity within the Food & Beverage industry and/or Fragrances

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
