Job Title : Project Coordinator

Job Overview:
Rainmakers Strategic Solutions, a fast-growing woman-owned small business provides management consulting services for federal government clients. Many of Rainmakers’ contracts support federal health care programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. A significant number of our contracts involve updating publicly available documents for digital and print publication in response to policy and health care benefit changes. We pride ourselves on upholding high standards for delivering quality products and services under aggressive timelines.
The Project Coordinator will provide administrative and project management support for the implementation of the Physician Compare Website and the EPCS Program. This role involves preparing meeting agendas and minutes, coordinating virtual meetings, supporting project management activities, and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders. The coordinator will assist in the preparation of briefing materials and support the overall project execution to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines.

Job Duties:
  • Meeting Coordination: Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and reports. Coordinate and schedule virtual meetings and webinars.
  • Project Management Support: Assist with project management activities, including tracking project progress, maintaining project documentation, and updating project management tools.
  • Communication and Reporting: Ensure timely communication with all stakeholders. Prepare briefing materials and status reports for internal and external teams.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of all project activities, including meeting minutes, project plans, and correspondence.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, team members, and CMS components to ensure project goals are met.
Education:
Associates Degree or higher

Years of Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative support role, preferably within a healthcare or government setting.
 
  • Software Proficiency:
    Project Management Tools: Proficiency in using project management software such as Microsoft Project
  • Office Suite: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Communication Tools: Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams for coordinating and scheduling meetings.
  • Document Management: Familiarity with document management systems for maintaining project records and documentation.
