Salary: $22 an hour

As a Personal Stylist at V&V you’ll bring joy, surprise, and discovery to our clients’ clothing experience through personal styling and independent design. You’ll cultivate authentic client relationships and offer exceptional styling expertise and product knowledge, driving sales and appointment bookings. You’ll also collaborate with our team to successfully serve and style our clients together.

This role is based at our flagship store in downtown Durham. It offers a competitive hourly wage ($22 an hour), part-time benefits, and a set schedule (either one, two, or three days a week based on your availability ). It also provides a rare opportunity to learn from our renowned co-founder, who was trained in Paris.

ROLE:

• Learn the “master class” of hospitality and personal styling
• Develop in-depth knowledge of V&V’s curated collection of independent designers and engage and inspire clients and walk-ins with our designers’ stories 
• Partner with our team to plan appointments, create memorable styling experiences, and fulfill our goals 
• Help create an inspiring space that tells a story through store upkeep and collaborative merchandising

QUALIFICATIONS:

• You embody V&V’s core values of care, candor, optimism and curiosity
• You love serving others and you’re driven to build sales, and achieve and exceed goals
• You have at least 1 year of proven experience as a personal stylist, ideally in a boutique setting
• You can describe the construction, cut and material of a garment
• You’re able to work on your feet and lift 25 lbs
