About the job Part-time Bookkeeper - Japanese Bilingual


Location: Torrance, CA (on-site)

A dynamic Japanese IT company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a part-time bookkeeper.

Job Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable : Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and ensure timely payments.
• Accounts Receivable: Generate and send invoices, track payments, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and identify any discrepancies.
• General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Other accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Japanese
• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred, but not required.

Work Schedule

• Part-time position with flexible hours. Exact hours can be discussed based on your availability.
