Victus Sports has an opportunity for a part-time Pack and Ship Associate to join our staff. The Pack and Ship Associate will be responsible for packaging and shipping wooden baseball bats. We are looking for an employee who understands the industry best practices and apply them to every aspect of their work. We offer a competitive salary and full benefits after one month of employment.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Package and ship bats accurately
• Apply bar codes to bats
• Inspect bats for quality control
• Package bats according to quality standards
• Support other members of engraving team as needed.
• Set-up and maintain work areas and maintain equipment in accordance to safety procedures
• Maintain clean work areas

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working alongside members of the engraving room.

Physical Demand

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods; bend, stoop, or crouch in uncomfortable positions.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time non-exempt position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 4:00pm, 10 - 20 hours per week

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education and Experience

• Packing experience is preferred but not required
• Flexibility/adaptability and have good multi-tasking skills
• Applies knowledge and skills to complete task within own area
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting established standards
• Dependable
