What You Will Be Doing As A Logistics Coordinator : - Maintain and grow relationships with carriers and client contacts
- Analyze expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services
- Negotiate and authorize contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs, providing responsive customer service and resolving client issues quickly and effectively
- Collaborate with other managers and staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
- Oversee inventory of goods, vehicles, and personnel
- Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment cycle, ensuring that deadlines are met and policies/procedures are followed

- Organizing and planning -develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work in a timely manner
- Communication -express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization
- Complex problem solving -identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Social perceptiveness -be aware of other people's reactions and understand why they react the way they do. Maintain a positive, friendly composure even in difficult situations
Requirements To Be A Logistics Coordinator : - Bachelor's degree
- Ability to work the overnight shift (3rd shift)
- Occasional weekends
