In this full-time position, you’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary school teams and student guardians, ensuring accurate records and tracking progress. Get ready to travel between schools in Algonquin and neighboring districts, focusing on early childhood and elementary settings!

Contract Details:

• Hourly Rate: $45 – $47
• Contract Duration: March 2025 - June 2025
• Location: Algonquin/Hampshire/Dundee, IL
• Assignment Focus: Blended and self-contained Early Childhood, Resource, and self-contained Elementary
• Bonus: $3000 assignment bonus for new Supplemental Health Care employees
• Schedule: Full-time, following the school district calendar

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Developing and implementing educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
• Evaluating students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
• Collecting therapy data, maintaining accurate student records, and monitoring progress toward student goals
• Collaborating and communicating with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
• Providing occupational therapy services according to student IEPs
• Traveling between assigned school locations as needed
• Supervising assistants when required

Requirements:

• Illinois Occupational Therapist License – IDFPR Occupational Therapist license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
