Contract Details:

• Hourly Rate: $45 – $47
• Position: School-based Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week
• Start Date: August 2025
• End Date: May 2026
• Location: Belvidere, IL
• Assignment: Work across Elementary, Middle, and High Schools focusing on resource and life skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored educational and therapy programs based on evaluations.
• Evaluate students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services.
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward goals.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians.
• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs.
• Travel between school locations as needed and potentially supervise assistants.

Requirements:

• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License – IDFPR Occupational Therapist license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required.
