Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing Manager/ Director for our client based in Arizona. This is a direct hire position, fully remote (unless local to the area, hybrid if so).
Additional Duties:
- Product Marketing
- Lead positioning, messaging, and product launch strategies for included products and features
- Develop the go-to-market strategy for new products and releases of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Collaborate with product management and sales teams to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with target buyers
- Provide “Voice of Customer” insights to product management to inform product strategy and ensure company offerings meet market needs
- Marketing Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns that align with business goals and drive growth
- Conduct market research to understand market trends, buyer personas, and competitive landscape
- Create and manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI
- Brand and Campaign Management
- Oversee the development and execution of branding initiatives to enhance brand awareness and reputation
- Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels, including digital, print, and social media
- Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, content marketing, email marketing, and social media, to drive product awareness and adoption
- Digital Marketing
- Lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media
- Manage the company’s online presence, including website content, social media profiles, and online advertising
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and technologies, making recommendations for new tools or strategies to enhance marketing efforts
- Collaboration – work closely with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and objectives
- Public Relations and Communications
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and reputation
- Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other public relations materials
- Manage crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and effective responses to protect the brand’s reputation
Required Skills:
- Must have SaaS marketing experience within financial services, merchant services, and/or payments business industries
- Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies
- Ability to work effectively within an organization, collaborating across departments and levels to achieve business objectives
- Proven ability to start with a complex problem, frame up strategic issues, and identify key assumptions required to gather and analyze information resulting in a marketing strategy
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and analytics platforms
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to optimize marketing efforts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Outstanding presentation skills with a strong planning and communication ability
- Independent self-starter: ability to think clearly and manage multiple priorities in a high growth, fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Proficiency in marketing automation, as well as project management tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- An analytical mind with a balance between a data-driven and an emotional approach to marketing
