About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of People & Culture to join their team. This visionary leader will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of human resources and internal communication functions. The role involves guiding the execution of the organization's culture strategy, fostering productive working relationships, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices. The successful candidate will be a clear and open communicator, with a focus on enterprise transformation, and will be expected to develop the strategic and operational capacity of the HR and internal communication functions. They will also be a collaborative partner to senior leadership, with a strong focus on a talent agenda that recruits, develops, and retains top talent. Applicants for this role should have at least three years of experience as the head of HR, preferably in a STEM or academic environment, and a proven track record in organization development and strategic internal communication. The position requires a candidate with a proclivity for analytical and critical thinking, balanced with high emotional intelligence, and executive-level communication and problem-solving skills. A BSc or MSc in a relevant field is required, and SPHR or similar certification is a plus. The Head of People & Culture will be expected to lead new initiatives, manage resources effectively, and demonstrate the company's values and collective practices both individually and systemically.
