Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Gunsmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of firearms, including their operation, maintenance, and repair. In addition to technical expertise, strong customer service skills are essential for effectively engaging with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance on a variety of firearms, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of firearms to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate repairs or enhancements.
• Customize firearms to meet clients' specifications, including stock modifications, barrel replacements, and sight adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed on firearms, including repairs, modifications, and inventory management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with clients to understand their needs, answering questions, and offering knowledgeable advice on firearm care and usage.
• Educate clients on the safe handling, maintenance, and operation of their firearms, fostering a culture of safety and responsibility.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless service experience for customers.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in gunsmithing and firearm maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a gunsmith or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of various types of firearms.
• Proficient in the use of gunsmithing tools and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and other machining tools.
• Solid knowledge of firearm safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications or training in gunsmithing or firearms technology are preferred.
