Burleigh Heads Rugby League Football Club Inc Would you like to work for a community club? The Burleigh Leagues Club is looking for a full-time Exec Sous Chef, who is self-motivated and displays a positive attitude, for their newly refurbished venue. The successful candidate will assist the Executive Chef in the direction and assistance of daily kitchen operations, whilst working alongside motivated F&B staff. This position would ideally suit someone who has had previous strong experience in banquet functions and events. You must be a passionate chef, a true leader by example, support and manage a team and have a true understanding of HACCP protocol. You will need to have a strong knowledge of banqueting, canape platters, buffet, alternated drop plated dinner, as well as full understanding of costing analyses, monthly, weekly, and daily specials. To be successful you will always be friendly and professional, truly understand priority whilst working in a fast-paced kitchen with dual focus on day trade, 2 kitchens and a banquet, plus game days. You will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the kitchens, ordering and preparation of sections for both restaurants and the capability to make pizza if required, short orders tapas, and big volume kitchen.
