Job Description

Gatorworks is hiring a Digital Marketing Sales Consultant who will be responsible for growing business outside our headquarters of Louisiana primarily targeting the Home Services industries. A main component of this position is prospecting for new opportunities and finding the right solution to help our clients grow. 

You’ll be tasked with educating organizations of all sizes on our services and explore which ones best benefit them long term. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about marketing, personable, capable, and driven. 

*Limited travel may be required.

*This position can be filled remotely which may depend on the qualifications of the applicant. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prospect new business opportunities in 3-5 key cities / metro areas through cold calling to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Ensure prospective clients understand our range of capabilities
• Work with Sales Enablement/Strategy teams to determine the solution for the prospect
• Write and manage sales proposals
• Follow up with and otherwise engage prospects
• Manage prospects in sales CRM (Salesforce)
• Understand and be able to explain our company’s unique selling proposition
• Provide a consultative “marketing expert” process
• Implement effective handoffs to Account Management team after each sale
• High comfort level with several sales activities such as cold calling, LinkedIn, email, and more
• Self-motivated and desire to be managed to results
• Meet and exceed sales expectations, monthly, quarterly, and annually

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years of experience in an outside B2B sales role
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to listen and understand a client’s needs
• Superior organizational and time management skills, as well as attention to detail
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with experience working with all levels of an organization, including C-level executives
• Experience with various online meeting platforms (i.e. Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Etc.)
• Ability to identify, articulate, and defend insights and recommendations from subject matter specialists to clients
• Aptitude for uncovering and analyzing clients’ spoken and unspoken goals and needs
• A positive, can-do, self-starting attitude

Bonus Points:

• Experience working in the digital marketing industry
• Experience selling to or working in a home service industry business
• An existing network to tap into for sales opportunities
• Experience using a sales CRM (Salesforce is a double bonus)
• Experience in a marketing agency setting
• Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hubspot, or related certifications
• Experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets
• Prior Knowledge of Programmatic Ads, Google Ads, Social Media Ads, SEO, OTT, or Wordpress
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, Communications, Digital Advertising, or related field
