The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in CAD and Revit, with experience in System Surveyor being a significant advantage. The Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design process from initial survey through to final design completion, managing a team of 3-5 CAD operators and field survey personnel.

Leadership and Management: - Lead and manage a team of 3-5 CAD operators, field survey and Project Management/ workflow personnel.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members to foster their professional growth and ensure high-quality output.
Project Management - Manage the entire design process from initial survey to final design completion.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their design requirements and ensure these are met.
- Develop project timelines and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
Design and Technical Expertise - Utilize CAD and Revit to create and oversee the development of detailed design plans.
- Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and client specifications.
- Review and approve design documents and drawings
Survey Management: - Conduct and oversee field surveys to gather necessary data for design projects.
- Use System Surveyor to streamline and enhance the survey and design process (preferred but not mandatory).
Quality Control: - Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of design documents.
- Conduct regular reviews of team output to maintain high standards of work
Reporting: - Prepare regular reports on project status, team performance, and any issues encountered.
- Present findings and progress updates to senior management.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD and Revit is required.
- RCDD preferred.
- Experience with System Surveyor or similar survey program is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
$65,000 - $100,000 a year
