Responsibilities:
Design, and implement a recruitment, retention, and attrition strategy.
Conduct regular follow-ups with the client to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Proactively develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance.
Post openings in online venues, with professional organizations, and in other position-appropriate venues.
Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer-of-choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
Prescreen applicants??? relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
Prepare offer letters and schedule applicants to onboard in the office
Collaborate with the HR/legal, Operations, & Account Management departments in improving field training & federal/state employee compliance.
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within the schedule.
Forecasting hiring needs by developing relationships with clients and partnering agencies
Provide analytical and well-documented daily recruitment reports
Desired skills:
Must be available 40+ hours per week depending on hiring needs.
AA or BS degree preferred.
3 years??? experience with in a fast-paced environment (such as banker/teller, server/bartender, receptionist, quality warehouse associate, etc.) *if no recruitment experience*.
Proven candidate sourcing and/or relationship-building skills.
General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
Good research skills.
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
Competent in social media marketing and B2B local marketing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making abilities.
Requirements:
- Must be located in San Diego, CA.
- High School Diploma (HSD) or equivalent degree (GED).
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
