Area Sales Representative - Food Industry - FL / AL - 27739708 Our client is Gelato-making to fillings and toppings company, offering premium quality pastes, bases, and inclusions. They are a manufacturer and distributor of dessert ingredients and supplies for the creation of artisanal frozen desserts, fine pastries, and specialty beverages.
With more than 700 employees between Italy and abroad, more than 65,000 square meters of facilities in Italy, a production site of 60.000 square meters also in America and more than 20 gelato and pastry schools. They are the renown leader in the manufacture of ingredients and semi-finished products for ice cream, pastry, beverages and coffee.

Responsibilities: - Develop existing and new business, targeting independent and corporate food service, restaurants, specialty stores, c-stores throughout the assigned area to achieve top line sales and profit goals and growth.
- Develop strategy, presentations, execution plans, programs, promotional activities and procedures with the review and coordination of the Director of Sales.
- Work with targeted Regional Brokers to outline sales objectives and priorities per account to continue to drive revenue.
Qualifications: - 3-5 years of sales experience within the food industry experienced in targeting food service, specialty, c-store and independent accounts.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A disciplined self-starter with a hunter and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Food Broker and distributor experience.
- Experience using Excel and a customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Unequivocally motivated to win business opportunities and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and distributors
- Travel Required: Approximately 50%+ in the region.

Territory: FL / AL
Base Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 - plus paid quarterly bonus based on achieved KPI (sales volume, customer acquisition, sales turnover, CRM use)
Total Earnings: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00
